Airbus A380. Crikey!

We, Ollie, Betsy and I, went to the Aeroscopia Museum at Blagnac. About an hour's train and tram ride from the centre of Toulouse. Toulouse is where they make Airbus airplanes such as the A380 which of course is the type of plane we flew here on. We couldn't get to the factory but we could see it with the new A380s parked outside like a used car yard.

The A380 factory in the background with Betsy as scale to show the size but it doesn't really give you the dimensions. Below are the new planes waiting for collection.

Inside the museum of Aeroscopia is this massive Airbus Guppy that hinges at the side to drive massive cargo straight into the cargo-hold.

Also, in the same hangar is the beloved Concord. Above is the looking down the nose of the beast if a plane. The gangway to get on and Ollie and Betsy at the airbridge getting. The strangest this is the size of the windows on this plane. They are no bigger than an iPad Mini.

This is the second Concord at the museum. One inside and one outside. We never did find out if they still maintain a working example.

All sorts of Jet engines and propellers were on view as well as warfare and response planes. But below shows the future for air travel with your own suite with ensuite, bedroom and board room or lounge.

We all got to have a go on a sort of flight simulator; to various degrees of success.
