We had a short train ride to Cahors where we picked up a hire car and then drove through the Lot department of South western France on our way to the Dordogne where we are staying. On the way we stopped in a tiny village, Frayssinet le gelat. This is where Mary Moody, the Australian author, has a cottage. Being a Monday afternoon there wasn't soul in sight.
