Driverless trains ...

Toulouse's small, yet very effective, underground system operates with driverless trains. At first a scary thought but it seems to work like clockwork. Doesn't seem to have a timetable as there is a train every few minutes so if you miss one there's only a short wait. The added bonus is, without a diver, someone gets the best view of where you're going, even if it is in the dark. Check out this short grab between Capitole and St Cyprian-Republique, underneath the mighty Garonne River.
